  • STAM, MTS Professional Development Day, Winnipeg, MB.
    Went to four different sessions based on the concept of science, and how to teach it in different grade levels.  The sessions I went to were called:
    1. Nutrients for Life
    2. Demonstrations in Medical Physics
    3. Tomatosphere: An ‘Out of this World’ Science Program
    4. Yellow Fish Road
  • MSCA, Sage, Winnipeg, MB
    This day was hosted by Stephanie Staples.  She discussed the importance of psychological behaviors.
  • SMART board Lesson, University of Manitoba. 
    Our class was taught the basics on how to use a SMART board.
  • Faculty Research Day 2014, University of Manitoba.
    This day was hosted by the University Professors and their research.  The four different sessions I went to include the following:
    1. The Power of a Positive Mindset in Resilient Refugee Youth: Relationships in School.
    2. Addressing the Deficiencies: Meta-Analysis of the Online Presence of Science Teacher Organizations.
    3. Exploring the Impacts of Certification on the Leadership Preparation of School Leaders: An Analysis of the Manitoba Professional Administrator’s Certificate.
    4. Beyond Schools: Teaching and Learning in a Community-Based Practicum.

    1. This day was hosted by the University Professors and their research.  The four different sessions I went to include the following:
